Steve Meister is one of the programmers at Bethesda Game Studios. He first joined Bethesda in the spring of 2001 as a programmer for Morrowind (before that he had been working at ZeniMax Media). Since then, he has worked on both Morrowind and Oblivion, and is partly responsible for the Scourge easter egg in Morrowind. Meister was the Lead Programmer for Fallout 3, and served as a Gameplay Programmer on subsequent titles. Steve has Bethesda credits as recent as Starfield.[1] In the past, he would occasionally visit the IRC channel, #elderscrolls on Chatspike.
