Lore:Rings of Blood Magic
The Rings of Blood Magic are a set of two ancient enchanted rings which enhance the wearer's Blood Magic and vampiric powers.[1] The Ring of the Erudite fortifies the wearer's magicka,[2] while the Ring of the Beast fortifies the wearer's health and increases the power of a Vampire Lord's claws.[3][4] Both rings are triple-banded with two gemstone insets; the Ring of the Erudite is brassy and possesses green gems, while the Ring of the Beast is golden with red gems.[2][3][4]
According to myth, Molag Bal himself gave these rings to ancient and powerful Vampire Lords.[1]
History[edit]
Lord Harkon of the Volkihar clan of vampires is said to have disbelieved in their existence, though some among his court speculated that this may have been a feigned indifference and that Harkon felt slighted that the rings were not already in his possession.[1] However, the Volkihar were believed to have discovered the whereabouts of both rings circa 4E 201. Both were located somewhere in the province of Skyrim, and were recovered at the request of the court's resident conjurer, Feran Sadri.[5]
