Rufinus Alleius

Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Lorbumol gro-Aglakh at the Guild of Fighters in Vivec for your orders.
2. Travel to Ebonheart to collect a bounty on Rufinus Alleius.
3. Find the magistrate at the Grand Council and kill him.
4. Return to Lorbumol to complete the quest.

Detailed Walkthrough

Orders

Lorbumol gro-Aglakh in the Vivec Guild of Fighters asks you to collect yet another bounty on a magistrate (judge) in the Grand Council of Ebonheart, Rufinus Alleius.

Alleius' Bounty

Take a boat to Ebonheart and seek out the magistrate in the Grand Council Chambers. Asking around will reveal that he is actually in the Imperial Commission. Kill him and return to Lorbumol for your 1,000 gold bounty. You could try taunting before attacking; after five successful taunts or so at 0/100 disposition Rufinus Alleius starts attacking you.

Notes

• If you check with Percius Mercius in the Ald'ruhn Guild of Fighters about this, he will suggest that you deny Lorbumol's request (this is the last quest Lorbumol gives you anyway).
• Killing Lorbumol won't remove the quest from your journal.
• Rufinus Alleius plays a key role in the Imperial Legion quest Lord's Mail.
• It is possible to talk to Lorbumol about Rufinus Alleius to start this quest early.
