I found a pendant with the names Ahirunz and Ernabi engraved upon it while exploring the Cave of Trophies.

Detailed Walkthrough

The pendant can be found near the cages in the cavern to the west of cave leading outside. It will surround by Banekin, so get rid of them and interact with piece of jewelry.

I should find Ernabi or Ahirunz and return this pendant.

The Pendant will now be in your inventory and you will need to find at least one of the names engraved on the pendant. If you have previously spoken to Ahriunz you will know where to find where to find one of them. Follow the road from the Cave of Trophies until you reach the main road. Then head west along it until you find a khajiit mourning over the body of another one.

Talk to Ahirunz.

"This one and his beloved mate sought shelter, but there was none to be found. Ernabi, she didn't make it. Now I lack the will to go on.
Our children will grow up without parents. They will be poor and destitute and probably die young and alone."

I've been to the Cave of Trophies. (Choose this option, to advance the quest.)

"Did you run into the Dremora? Did you make them suffer for what they did to this one … to poor Ernabi?
Ahirunz hopes that you killed many of the unclawed dung sacks."

I found this pendant. Is it yours?

"This one's beloved Ernabi dropped it while we ran from the Dremora. Ahirunz never thought he would see it again. It must be a sign! Ernabi doesn't want this one to give up.
Thank you. Thank you for giving Ahirunz the strength to go on living."

He will hand you some gold and Ahirunz's Beloved Sash.

Aftwards, he will say his final goodbyes to his mate before heading towards the Hollow City.
