While exploring Dead Man's Drop I came across a battered Nord shield.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Find the Battered Shield in Dead Man's Drop.
- Talk to Fuldir near Baandari Trading Post.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
While in Dead Man's Drop, you find a battered shield. There are names of cities on its edges. It looks like the shield's owner might be at the Baandari Trading Post.
As you approach the Trading Post, a Nord named Fuldir runs up to you. He says he is missing his shield. When you give it to him, he thinks you are one of the Ra Gada who jumped him. You can persuade him to trust you, if you have the Persuasion Perk, or you can tell him you aren't a Redguard.
He accepts the shield, gives you gold and returns to Windhelm.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
