After I returned the Dream Shard to Pariah Abbey, Abbot Durak told me of concerns that Vaermina also works to destabilize the eastern region of Gavaudon. I'm to warn High King Emeric and then meet Durak at Shinji's Scarp.

Detailed Walkthrough

Abbot Durak sends us to inform High King Emeric about our progress and that there could be another Omen in Gavaudon. The king is concerned about the news and he tells us to speak to Captain Ernele outside the castle. The captain tells us that everything seems to be normal at the war camp and wishes us good luck on the journey. It's time to visit Abbot Durak at Shinji's Scarp. The Abbot thinks if the Omen affected the general it could be problematic and we need more evidence. Perhaps helping the general defeat the ogres will flush the Omen out.
