The Dead Man-at-Arms is the corpse of a male Breton located on the cliff near the statue to Saint Stental, which is located along the road between Soulshriven Tower and Dreughside. According to the note you find on his corpse during the related quest, he is responsible for riling up the dreugh by stealing their eggs. He followed the dreugh that kidnapped Arcady Charnis to ensure he didn't escape, but got too close and was killed by the creatures. Later, you will learn that Baron Sorick employed him to do this.
