Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Continue talking to Dajaheel after turning in the previous quest. Belron left the camp muttering about further research. Dajaheel asks you to find him and help him in any way you can.
- "The touch of Molag Bal. Dries my scales just thinking about it. We have to stop their rituals, put an end to the abominations."
- Just tell me what to do.
- "Belron left the camp. He muttered something about further research. Head into the field and find that Dark Elf. Lend him whatever aid you can."
- I'll find him.
Belron is to the west, kneeling next to some vines. Up ahead, three graveghasts are channeling a spell into a ritual circle with a figure lying in the middle. He says the skeletons keeping repeating the name "Calix Thorntongue". Belron speculates that this "Thorntongue" is in the ritual circle. He asks you to kill Calix Thorntongue and bring back his heart. An undead entity's heart is often an epicenter for necromantic energy, and with Calix's heart, Belron can learn more about what the Worms are doing.
- "You see that thing? That's what's left of the Reachmen gathered at Vernim."
- What do we do about it?
- "We need to learn more about these things. The ghasts keep repeating the name Calix Thorntongue. Go kill him, take his heart, and bring it back to me."
- You seem obsessed with hearts.
- "Necromantic energies gather in the heart. It's the seat of life and unlife. Everything I need to know about a person, I can learn from his heart. Hmm, I suppose I am a little obsessed."
Calix Thorntongue is behind Belron in a glowing purple circle in the center of the vines. Kill it and collect its heart, then return to Belron. He says that there is powerful magicka radiating from the organ you brought him. With more like it, he may be able to find a way to bring an end to Stral Blackthroat.
- "Well done!"
- I need to stop the other rituals as well.
- "Indeed. As you do, collect their hearts. I feel powerful magicka radiating from this one. With more like it, we may be able to put an end to Stral himself.
I will be back at camp, researching." - I'll bring the hearts there, Belron.
You will need to collect hearts from Uracaile the Graveborn, Kraig the Graveborn, and Odanach the Graveborn. Look at your map. Among the winding roads in Vernim Woods, there are three round stretches of road to the north, east, west and south. Uracaile is to the southeast, Kraig is to the south, and Odanach lies to the west. Your targets are all kneeling in ritual circles. Kill them, take their hearts and return to Belron back at the Pact's camp. Belron will reward you for gathering the hearts for him.
- "You've returned. With a number of dripping presents. Excellent work."
- Yes. Here are the Graveborn hearts.
- "You have my thanks. These vine-twisted abominations may yet prove useful."

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
