Harnald is a Nord mage who can be found in Frostheart House in Riften. He has three sisters, Amitra‎, Mareki, and Theofa, who need help dealing with the Worm Cult rituals all over the Rift. Harnald will open a portal for you so that you can travel to his sisters' aid faster.

Quest-Related Events

A Ritual in the Ragged Hills

After the quest:

"No telling what would have happened in the Ragged Hills if you hadn't shown up."

A Ritual in Smokefrost Peaks

Once you started the quest and if you return to him through the portal before disrupting the Worm cult ritual:

"Back already? What about Theofa? She must still be in the Smokefrost Peaks."

What about Theofa?

"Theofa took the portal to the Smokefrost Peaks. We had reports of Worm Cultists infesting the area.
Mind looking in on her, just to see how she's doing?"

After the quest:

"The Smokefrost Peaks should be a lot safer, thanks to you."

Ritual at the Dragonshrine

Once you started the quest and if you return to him through the portal before disrupting the Worm cult ritual:

"Where's Mareki? Don't tell me you left her at the dragonshrine!"

Tell me about Mareki.

"I sent Mareki to a local dragonshrine. More Worm Cultists were seen around the shrine.
Would you see if she needs any help?"

After the quest:

"That dragonshrine's always attracted a bad crowd. We'll keep a closer eye on it from now on."
