I found this on Hubert.

"Sure enough. This looks like my cousin's writing. He was supposed to return yesterday.
Thank you. I know you didn't have to do this. I … I'm going to need some time to think about this."

Once Next of Kin has been completed:

"Part of me doesn't want to open the letter, as if the action itself would make the fear of his death a reality."
