Merdyndril is a Dark Elf member of the Maulborn found in his hideout located in the Obsidian Gorge. He is the creator of the Llodos Plague.

Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Blood Craze
- Merdyndril slashes the target twice, doing moderate physical damage twice then very minor bleed damage over time to the target. This attack also heals Merdyndril over time.
- Agony
- Merdyndril deals moderate magic damage and stuns the target for a short time. Taking damage from any source will break the stun, but they may choose to break free from it instead. After the stun ends, this spell also does moderate magical damage over time to the target. This spell can be interrupted to stagger Merdyndril. Blocking will prevent the stun.
- Roll Dodge
- Merdyndril can perform a roll dodge to avoid incoming damage.
- Hallucination/Hallucination of Death
- Merdyndril throws down a bottle full of Llodos plague which sets down an area under him that lasts of few seconds and that roots targets for ten seconds if they walk in it. Getting hit by the area while already rooted by it will not refresh the duration.
Quest-Related Events[edit]
After defeating Diiril's turned guards, Merdyndril will taunt you and Captain Diiril will turn into a Plague Stalker:
- Voice of Merdyndril: "You resist my plague? Let's try a stronger version!"
Merdyndril shows himself after you kill Captain Diiril:
- Merdyndril: "You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?"
Engaging him in combat:
- Merdyndril: "I shall experiment upon your body."
