Pinned to the board is a notice from Quartermaster Littorn: "Taebod the Gatekeeper is opening a new portal in the City sewers. General Aklash wants this stopped. Anyone who succeeds, see me for a reward." - Littorn
You would be tasked with slaying Taebod the Gatekeeper in the Wavering Veil at the very end of the Daggerfall Covenant section of the sewers. Once the job was done, you'd need to see the Quartermaster for a reward.

"We all have, but she keeps returning. One of her banekin clawed my face when I fought her. Nasty little things. Take your reward, warrior."
"You've got an eager look on your face. Who'd you kill?"
I killed Taebod the Gatekeeper.
"Shor's bones, that's good to hear. Taebod the Gatekeeper deserves to die many times over for all the Covenant soldiers she's slaughtered. Good work, and here's your reward."
