Locate a missing ring in exchange for an important note. "Bastian's letter is right there. I can't tell you why my father held onto it."

Bastian received a letter from Quistley Silvelle, who promised to share something he found about Bastian's mother. Bastian has always wondered why the Silvelles took him in and wants to learn more. I should help him.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Meet and speak to Quistley Silvelle in the Rosy Lion Inn in Daggerfall.
2. Go to Ilessan Tower.
3. Speak to Bastian Hallix.
4. Find the Silvelle Ring in the Tower.
5. Speak to Quistley Silvelle.
6. Read the undelivered letter.
7. Speak to Bastian Hallix.
8. Go to the Hearty Hoarvor Inn in Grahtwood.
9. Ask Vayzah about Inalieth. (Bastion has to be the active Companion for it to progress)
10. Find Inalieth south of the Redfur Trading Post.
11. Speak to Inalieth.
12. Speak to Bastian Hallix.

Detailed Walkthrough

Quistley Silvelle will be waiting for you on the second level of The Rosy Lion inn. If you can't see him dismiss Bastian from the Collections-Companions menu. Talk to him and he will explain that he lost his engagement ring on a bet and he needs help recovering it. If you agree to recover the ring from Ilessan Tower he will give an old letter about Bastian's family to him. Go to the tower, speak with Bastian before entering and the find Grenetta's body who won the ring from Quistley. If you read her journal it will explain why the hideout is infested with harpies. Take the ring from the box next the Grenetta's body and go back to Quistley who will be waiting outside the tower. Exchange the ring for the letter and read it to Bastian. You can find it on a rock next to Quistley. Next you have to go to Hearty Hoarvor Inn in Grahtwood. Asking about Inalieth at the inn reveals she was accused of stealing and fired some time ago. She left for the woods in the South. Find Inalieth and to talk her about past events then talk to Bastian to finish the quest.

• If you dismiss and summon Bastian to make Quistley appear in the inn there will be two Bastians present. ^?
• The quest objectives and dialogue refers to Illessan Tower. ^?

	Quistley has an old letter for Bastian from a Hallix family servant. But he won't part with it until Bastian retrieves a family heirloom that Quistley gambled away to a bandit from Illessan Tower. Objective: Go to Illessan Tower
	We found Illessan Tower just outside Daggerfall. Bastian wants to speak to me before we go in. I should talk to him. Objective: Talk to Bastian Hallix
	Somewhere within Illessan Tower is Grenetta, the gambler who won the Silvelle ring from Quistley. We need to find her to get the ring back for Quistley. Objective: Find the Silvelle Ring
	We found Grenetta ... dead. Fortunately, the Silvelles' heirloom ring was close by. Now to return it to Quistley so that Bastian can get the letter Quistley found about Lady Hallix. Objective: Talk to Quistley Silvelle
	Quistley took the Silvelle ring and left Bastian the letter he found in Lord Silvelle's papers. Bastian asked me to read the letter. He's afraid to. Objective: Read the Undelivered Letter
	The letter was written by Inalieth, a servant employed by Lady Hallix. She looked after Bastian when his mother died and was supposed to take him to his sister. I need to talk to Bastian. Objective: Talk to Bastian Hallix
	The old letter to Bastian came from a Hallix family servant named Inalieth. Bastian wants to go to Redfur Trading Post in Grahtwood, where she went to work after the Silvelles dismissed her. Objective: Go to the Hearty Hoarvor Inn in Grahtwood
	Inalieth's letter is more than ten years old. Bastian hopes that she still lives in Redfur Trading Post. We should start by asking someone at the inn. Objective: Ask About Inalieth
	We learned that Inalieth was fired from the Hearty Hoarvor, perhaps unfairly. She told a fellow employee that she was heading out into the Grahtwood. We should find her. Objective: Find Inalieth
	We found Inalieth near Redfur. Bastian is worried that she might want nothing more to do with Hallixes and Silvelles. He wants me to ask her what she remembers. Objective: Talk to Inalieth
	Inalieth told us that Bastian's older sister Clairene is alive! Many years ago Inalieth was supposed to take Bastian to live with her, but Lord Silvelle dismissed Inalieth instead. I should talk to Bastian about all of this. Objective: Talk to Bastian Hallix
