Ysmgar

Ysmgar is a sea giant who can be found as a boss within the Infinite Archive. His original manifestation may be found at his beach in the northern part of Western Skyrim. He is not the heaviest of hitters within the Archive, but he has several attacks which can knock you off the platform, so this makes him one of the more dangerous opponents you can face. You should try as much as possible to stay in the center of the platform to avoid being knocked off.

Skills and Abilities

Smash

Ysmgar swings his club at you, causing Physical Damage and knocking you back. This can easily knock you off of the platform, so should be blocked if possible.

Frigid Waters

Ysmgar sends a pulse of freezing water which can lock you in place for a few seconds, which makes you vulnerable to his other attacks. You should try to Break Free when this occurs, especially if you are near the edges when it occurs.

Crashing Wave

Ysmgar summons a circle of waves to spread out in all directions. This can also knock you off the platform. Blocking is the easiest way to avoid it. You could get yourself out of range, but that would put you dangerously close to the edges, which makes you vulnerable to his other knockback attacks.

Summon Tidal Orb

Ysmgar summons three Tidal Orbs from the edges of the platform that will move towards the center. At a certain point, they will explode in a splash of water that can knock you back and possibly off the platform. You can prevent this by destroying the orbs before they blow, or by keeping your distance when they do.
