Deal with some goblin pests and keep them out for good! Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Ardavan Caralus in the Charach Guild of Mages.
2. Talk to Calmanwe in the Sunset Hotel.
3. (Optional) Ask Calmanwe about Ardavan Caralus.
4. Escort Calmanwe to Kingfisher Cave.
5. Kill all of the goblins in Kingfisher Cave.
6. Summon the Auroran using Ardavan's scroll.
7. Talk to Calmanwe again.
8. Return to Ardavan Caralus for your reward.

10		The Mages Guild has been hired to rid Kingfisher Cave of its current goblin inhabitants. I am to escort Calmanwe there, clear the goblins out with her, and finally summon an Auroran with the scroll provided by Ardavan. Calmanwe will then ensure the Daedra is bound permanently to the cave.
18		Ardavan Caralus also requested that I complete an informal duty for him personally. I'm to do my best to put in a good word for him with Calmanwe while we go about our duties together.
19		I spoke well of Ardavan Caralus to Calmanwe, as he requested.
25		Calmanwe asked me to let her know once I'm ready for us to travel together to Kingfisher Cave.
30		The last goblin in Kingfisher Cave has been slain.
40		Calmanwe will stay in Kingfisher Cave for now, in order to permanently bind the Auroran.
85		I destroyed the Auroran summoned in Kingfisher Cave before it could be permanently bound to Mundus.
90		Calmanwe died during our expedition to Kingfisher Cave.
100	Finishes quest	Ardavan thanked me for clearing out Kingfisher Cave alongside Calmanwe.
105	Finishes quest	Ardavan thanked me for clearing out Kingfisher Cave alongside Calmanwe. He was also delighted with me for speaking highly of him to Calmanwe, and handed me a greater soul gem as thanks.
200	Finishes quest	Ardavan was upset at the news of Calmanwe's demise.
205	Finishes quest	Ardavan was furious that I destroyed the Auroran summoned in Kingfisher Cave.

Bugs

• It's possible for the goblin chieftain to not be present in Kingfisher Cave, making it impossible to complete the quest without using the console. ^?
  • If this happens you can manually advance the quest by opening the console and entering journal PC_m1_MG_Cha4 30.
  • Alternatively, you might be able to use TCL to find the chieftain outside the map and then use Move to move them into the cave.
