Walkthrough[edit]

The summit is visible behind Fellglow Keep. A rough path to the word wall can be followed by heading northwest past the keep and circling around to the northeast. Alternatively, you may head south from Tumble Arch Pass before heading east once the slope becomes easier to climb.

Before the dragons' return, the word wall will be guarded by Krosis, an undead dragon priest.

After the dragons' return, the word wall will be guarded by a leveled dragon. If Krosis had not previously been defeated, he will also be present.

Regardless of whether Dragon Rising has been completed, the boss chest is against the word wall.

Notes[edit]

  • When the location respawns, Krosis' sarcophagus will be resealed, but no dragon priest will respawn. The dragon respawns as usual.
  • A Shearpoint Dragon card appears in Legends.

Bugs[edit]

  • The location might not be marked as cleared even after you kill the dragon and Krosis and learn the word from the wall.
    • Reloading a previous save may fix this.
    • On PC The console command SetLocationCleared 0x0001916c 1 will force the area to be marked as cleared.
  • The word wall will occasionally only teach you one of the three words of Throw Voice.
    • Reloading a previous save may fix this.
  • The dragon may rest on the word wall and not move, and will be invincible.
    • Reloading a previous save may fix this.
    • Fast traveling and returning later may fix this.
  • If you learn of this location from gossip, such as a city guard, you'll be able to fast travel to the location, even though you have never been there before. This will cause your "Locations Discovered" statistic to forever be off by one.
  • You may still hear the word wall music when you return to this location, even if you previously killed the dragon and Krosis, learned the shout, and cleared the location.
    • On PC The console command "f09f6".disable will stop the music, while the command "f09f2".disable will stop the sizzling sound effect.
