Pumping Station Redirect[edit]

Why does Pumping Station redirect here? It is a separate - although not very large - area. 124.170.15.129 09:35, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

The two areas are connected through a direct door, that doesn't involve the Blackreach cave, so it can be viewed as two zones of the same "dungeon".--Alfwyn 11:26, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Chest in last room of Pumping station[edit]

It is entirely possible to reach the other side of the room without exiting to the northern balcony. Just walk across the pipes and jump at the vertical piston, then walk on the rim, or jump to the opposite ledge. Saves two loadings. — Unsigned comment by Oddman (talkcontribs) at 11:18 on 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Things Not Respawning?[edit]

So I'm back at Blackreach, and I've noticed that certain things don't respawn, both in the exterior Blackreach area and the interior areas. The Catacombs seems to be the worst, because not only do the containers not respawn, but it's the same for the ore veins and the glowing mushrooms on the cave wall. The Falmer respawn just fine, and it's been at least a game month since I was last in Blackreach, so I know it's had plenty of time for all areas to respawn. I tried the fix for inaccessible ore veins (going to different area with loading screen then going back in) but it doesn't fix the 2 veins in the Catacombs. Has anyone else had this problem in this area? Chocoholic (talk) 14:51, 5 December 2014 (GMT)

Stuck in the water.[edit]

I encountered what I think is a bug in the PC version. Upon entering from the pumping station, after killing a number of falmer, I fell into the water and spent some time trying to jump out. Unrealistically, I could not. During this time a falmer also went underwater and seems to swim towards me while not actually moving. Lydia runs around and ends up also in the water near the falmer. I haven't figured out how to do any damage underwater. My weapons do not deploy and neither do my fists. So, it's a mexican stand-off. Lydia is in "fight" mode and will not take direction, and the falmer seems stuck as well. With no means to kill the falmer, I have no means to extricate Lydia from where she is, and so am stuck. I need to do more research to find out if there is a way to do damage underwater... — Unsigned comment by 72.172.1.73 (talk) at 04:53 on 9 December 2015 (UTC)

I believe the only way to do damage in water is via the various cloak spells (e.g., Flame Cloak). Those, of course, must be cast on land, though all it takes is being able to perch on any tiny bit of land, even if it's a bit underwater. Similarly, you might be able to find such a perch and then use it to jump out. If you can't, since you're on the PC version, you can clip out by opening the Console (using the ` key on an US keyboard) and typing tcl. Then close the console, move yourself over dry land, re-open it, and type the same command again. Lydia will rejoin you either when you get far enough away or when you go to a different map.
