Balvene Uvayn, governor of Arvud

Balvene Uvayn is a Dark Elf Noble and the governor of the Hlaalu caravan town of Arvud. She has two daughters, Felara Uvayn and Naalsa Uvayn, and a husband named Olmas Uvayn who has been missing for a great length of time, and is generally believed dead.

While most of her affairs are handled by her steward, Armas Tyravel, some matters cannot be - notably the unexplained visit of a southern noble, Vendel Othreleth. Balvene will commission you to find out why the man is here, and if not prevented, will ultimately marry him. This marriage ends in disaster, as Vendel transpires to be a conman, and makes off with her jewels - which again, Balvene will ask you to return.
