Captain Haladroth of the Hlaalu slaver vessel, Pride of Narusia

Haladroth is a Wood Elf merchant and owner of the Pride of Narusia, currently docked in Old Ebonheart. He can be found in the ship's cabin. An Oathman of Great House Hlaalu, he appears to be engaged in the trade of slaves, with his hold having a full cargo of Khajiit. The legality of this is unclear, as Old Ebonheart is Imperial territory.

In addition, Haladroth has begun a lively trade in strange statues to the citizens of Old Ebonheart, in which he claims the Hlaalu have a personal stake. Ending this supply forms a part of the Ebon Tower quest Stendarr Tower Haunting.

He wears an expensive shirt with matching pants, shoes, belt, gloves, and amulet. He wields a steel wakizashi.

Aside from his natural resistance to disease, and the ability to command animals, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]

  • latest rumors:
"I don't have time for rumors, %PCClass. I need to concentrate on my business dealings."

Stendarr Tower Haunting[edit]

  • dark idols:
"Dark idols, eh? You mean the Dunmer statues? Black and red with glowing eyes? Yeah, I've been supplying them. What of it? They're not illegal contraband, if that's what you're implying."
  • These statues are having some kind of weird influence on people. You need to stop selling them.:
(If Disposition < 30):
"Not going to happen, %PCRace. I'm sure you have more important matters elsewhere, mudcrabs to kill or something else equally pressing. I trust you know your way out."
(If Disposition ≥ 30):
"%PCRace, it's not worth your trouble or my time to put a stop to my selling these statues. They're not illegal, and I've had a pretty steady demand for them. Now if you'll excuse me, I have cargo manifests to go over."
(If Disposition ≥ 50):
"I'm sorry, %PCRace, but you're wasting your time. You seem like a good sort, but this is simply a matter of business for me. As long as there's a market for these statues, I'm going to continue to supply them. If you ever need anything else, feel free to stop back by."
"I already told you, %PCRace, I'm not going to stop shipping the Dark Elf statues. They're not illegal, and there's a market for them here."
"I don't know what you said or who you said it to, but those ash statues have been ruled as illegal trade goods. The Hlaalu aren't very happy about it."
(If you are a member of House Hlaalu):
"I don't know what you said or who you said it to, but those ash statues have been ruled as illegal trade goods. Your House isn't very happy about it. The Hlaalu had a personal stake in those ash statutes."
