Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

On the top floor of the Vermilion Hound Cornerclub in Hlerynhul stands a Dark Elf named Felvyn Faryon. He seeks an adventurer willing to eliminate a gang of bandits near Ald Marak and retrieve his enchanted bow, Kindheart. Agree, and he'll direct you to a cave called Sarat-Libali to the east of Ald Marak.

You can press him on how he knows exact descriptions of each bandit, in which case you'll get an answer peppered with uncertain pauses. Felvyn won't open up any further. If you wish to pursue that line of questioning further, speak to a guard in town - and then to Antonius Rato in Tiger Hall for 200 gold and thanks.

Otherwise, accept the offer and head out to Sarat-Libali. To reach it, leave Ald Marak along the dirt road, and follow that dirt road a short distance before it turns back on itself (northwards). The cave entrance is a few steps east of this point. Kill the three bandits inside and take the bow, Kindheart, from Falena Llaren. Then return with it to Felvyn for a 400 gold reward.

Notes[edit]

  • After a week has passed, you may encounter Felvyn again on the road leading from Ald Marak - this time heading his own bandit gang. He'll demand 5,000 gold from you for safe passage, and will attack if you refuse or do not have the sum.

10Finishes quest☑I met a Dunmer named Felvyn Faryon in the Vermilion Hound Cornerclub in Hlerynhul. Felvyn told me he ran into trouble with a group of bandits near Ald Marak. He asked me if I was interested in taking out the gang and retrieving his stolen bow, Kindheart. He described some members of the group in detail, and gave me precise directions to their hiding spot, a cave called Sarat-Libali just east of Ald Marak. I accepted Felvyn's offer.
20I asked Felvyn how he found out so many details about the robbers. He responded to me that he's simply a concerned citizen who is fed up with the inaction of the local authorities and that he actively scouted out the location of their hideout.

He offered me a safe passage if I paid up 5000 gold. I refused and Felvyn's gang attacked me.
