Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Is there a reason you're snooping about Merxia's Manor?"

East Empire Company: Basement Declaration[edit]

  • borrowed scroll:
"I am aware of it. It should be in a chest just through this door. Maybe for a quick kiss I'll let you through here."
  • [Lean in for a kiss.]:
"[Jacchia stands motionless, then laughs in your face.] You're serious aren't you? You really would have done it. I've seen scribs with more self respect than you. You're not getting through here, but if I liked you better I'd let you know of another way in. I'd start with some compliments, or maybe try giving me gold. Who doesn't like gold?"
  • [Refuse]:
"Finally, someone with some integrity. Merxia keeps a key to this door on her fireplace upstairs. Just don't steal anything valuable."
"You're not getting through here, but if I liked you better I'd let you know of another way in."
(If Disposition ≥ 95):
"The scroll is normally in an ornate chest just beyond this door. You seem like a trustworthy individual. If someone like you really wanted to get in there, they could check above the fireplace upstairs. Perhaps they might find a key to this door."
"I told you where the key is, I even saw you write it in your little journal. Perhaps you should check that before further incriminating me."
"I thought I heard something back where that scroll should be. You wouldn't have anything to do with that, would you?"
