Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Ereven Baryl about Orders and cover up the murders.
2. Go speak to Vilius Ralsus in the Imperial Consulate.
3. Either:
   • Convince Mervis Llarel to talk (requires 40+ disposition).
   • After reading it, bring Mervus Llarel's Letter from Mervis' Brevur Heights home to Vilius.
     • (this assumes you didn't pick it up during Bloody Brevur).
4. Ask Vilius Ralsus about Ahhepu, he will say to speak to a local Scout.
   • (e.g) Small-Runner in Heron Hall.
5. Go to Ahhepu, east of Narsis, and kill Goralas Nilvon.
6. Report to Vilius Ralsus in the Imperial Commission.
7. Speak to Galvus Pottreid about cover up the murders.
8. Return to Commander Baryl for a reward of 4,000 gold.

Detailed Walkthrough

Speaking to Commander Baryl about Orders, he frantically tells you that the Legion has to cover up these deaths before Galvus Pottreid finds out. He bids you to go speak to Vilius Ralsus in the Imperial Consulate about the issue.

Speaking with Vilius Ralsus about the murders, he mentions that you need to confront Mervis Llarel and find the motive behind the murders. However, if you acquired the paper from Mervis Llarel's desk in the previous quest, this is the evidence you need. Otherwise, you need to go get it and bring it back to Vilius. Asking him about Mervis again after this will have him tell you that you need to go to Ahhepu to kill the Tong's assassin.

Asking Galvus about Ahhepu to find out where it is, he says he doesn't know, but you should ask a scout at Heron Hall. Head to Heron Hall through the front door, and the first door on the left inside of Heron Hall contains the scout named Small-Runner. Speak to them about Ahhepu.

The directions they tell you are quite a bit off, so here's the correct directions:

• Go east of Heron Hall to the river Thirr. You should see a dock across the river and a small building. Go to the dock.
• Head up the nearby path and head south at the fork. You should see a building in the distance somewhat and you'll also come across a narrow canyon going east. The building is the Vedas Plantation, and the canyon that Small-Runner was speaking about is that canyon you pass on the way to the Vedas Plantation, not south of it. If you go to the Vedas Plantation looking for this canyon, you've gone too far and need to backtrack.
• Heading east through the narrow canyon, keep an eye to your right for some fairly tall cliffs near the path, with some Daedric ruins atop them. The path you're on ends at those Daedric ruins, but you don't want to get to the ending of the path, you want to stand at the foot of the rock face that the ruins are on top of, and turn left.
• Turning left, there's a small hill that splits left and right at the top of it. Go left. You'll find the cave of Ahhepu shortly after that.

After getting into Ahhepu, clean it out of Camonna Tong gang members, and you'll also kill Goralas Nilvon, but your Journal will not update.

Go back to Vilius Ralsus in the Imperial Consulate, and he'll tell you to go speak to Galvus Pottreid about the issue now. Do so, and Galvus Pottreid will reluctantly agree to keep the peace, saying that the issue will be treated as vigilante justice between some Imperials and a rogue member of the Camonna Tong.

Return back to Commander Baryl for a reward of 4,000 gold and his utmost thanks.

30		I found out that the main Camonna Tong assassin behind the murders was Goralas Nilvon, who is hiding out in the cave of Ahhepu.
70		Galvus Pottreid reluctantly accepted Mervis Llarel's reasoning behind the murders and was glad that the assassin in Ahhepu was brought to justice.
100	Finishes quest	Ereven Baryl thanked and rewarded me for resolving the situation with the Camonna Tong's murders.
200	Finishes quest	I told Ereven Baryl that Galvus Pottreid is dead.
