Yak gro-Yam is an Orc Agent found accompanying the Dunmer merchant, Yontus Kushummu during both Tough Customer and Art of the Deal. Yak has little to say in the former quest, but in the latter, proves all too talkative - revealing a connection between Yontus and the East Empire Company which allows the smuggler, Sarrugi Sentishi, to demand a hefty ransom from the organization.
It seems that Yak has little loyalty to Yontus - a fact perhaps explained by Sarrugi's suggestion that Yak had slave bracers on before Sarrugi captured the two. He abandons Yontus during Art of the Deal, seeking a hefty payment from you for his silence on the Company's dealings in Indoril Ilvi's lands.
If asked later to join the East Empire Company, Yak will cheerfully admit to his blackmail, and unlike the former Velothi clients of the Company, will demand a signing bonus. He will otherwise express his intention to depart Morrowind, aiming for the West.
He wears a common robe, a common shirt, a pair of common pants, a pair of common shoes, and a slave's right bracer.
Like all Orcs, he has a natural resistance to magicka, and can boost his health, fatigue and attack for short periods, at the cost of his agility. In addition, he also knows the following spells: Blightguard, Hearth Heal, Resist Poison, Resist Shock, and Vigor.

- Deal.:
- "Then it's done! I'll see you in Old Ebonheart." (Removed 500 gold from your inventory)
- No deal.:
- "Sorry we couldn't make it work."
- "So he's dead? When they say Kyne takes the greatest Nords into her hearth, I wonder if they include the merchants. Or is it just the warriors? I suppose he knows now."

- stay quiet about us:
- "Do let me go free before we talk about that."
- "I'm going west and retiring a rich Orc the first chance I get. You won't have to worry about me as long as I get my severance. My price is 2000 drakes, or if you don't have that on you, Sarrugi Sentishi's Dwarven warhammer, for I know a man who will greatly value such an artifact. Remember, I know everything Yontus did for you people. He can't say anything about it, but I can, and the Indoril may well want to hear it. So?"
- Here you are: 2000 drakes. / Here you are: Sarrugi Sentishi's warhammer.:
- "A pleasure doing business. I'll see you in Orsinium!" (Disposition +5, and removed 2000 gold or Sarrugi's Scepter from your inventory)
- Excuse me for a moment.:
- "This isn't a negotiation, %PCName. I've given you my price and a generous alternative. Act accordingly."
- I've spoken with Indoril Ilvi: he won't be a problem anymore. You have no leverage here.:
- "What? You made a deal with Ilvi?"
- "I agree."
- Yontus Kushummu:
- "He's an Ashlander, so he never learned to read or write. He left that to me. Now he can't speak, either. Our captor tired of his acid tongue rather quickly."
- (If Yontus Kushummu is dead):
- "He's an Ashlander, so he never learned to read or write. He left that to me. It'd seem now, he can't do much of anything."
