Age discrepancy[edit]
In-game texts and comments made when interacting with him suggest Jones is 58 years old during Redguard; if one does the maths, this would place his year of birth in 2E 806. I appreciate the fact he is an otherworldly divine being that can be in multiple places, and indeed times, at once, but I cannot find any references to him being active in 2E 582 in any ESO material, not even the extensive catalogue that is Sheogorath's Wabbapedia. --Rezalon (talk) 04:26, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- In any other case I'd agree with the math, but I think the evidence comes up overwhelmingly that his birth had to occur in 2E 582. Aside from the obvious fact that it was a year of immense stretching of Akatosh's limits, it is the supposed date of the "Sex Bomb" dropping. I think we all understands what that means in terms of the metaphysical lore surrounding Tom. It doesn't matter what any Imperial records list his age as when we all know what really happened. -Tarponpet (talk) 05:11, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- Wait, there are years besides 2E 582? The Rim of the Sky (talk) 420:69, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Artifacts section?[edit]
Apologies if this has already been discussed elsweyr, but shouldn't there be a section listing his associated artifacts? For example, his main weapon, Sennheiser MD 211 (or as the Tamfolk say, Mike-Roh-Fone) appears even in games he isn't present, and most recently in The Elder Scrolls 2: Skyrim 2: Anniversary Edition. Similarly, his Green Green Grass of Home appears in Oblivion PSP and Smolder Scrolls Online. Mike-Roh-Fone is Floognoodle (talk) 20:39, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- I don't know about using content from Anniversary Edition, we wouldn't wanna risk r/ElderScrolls getting mad. After all, they unbiasedly decided offical DLCs shouldn't be considered canon even if they're made by Bethesda. They're people who like to complain on the interent, I think they know what they're talking about. -Tarponpet (talk) 21:07, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
