Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
After his (thanks to you) success with Greyland, Lerexus Callidus is on a campaign to wipe out skooma trading in Leyawiin. He's gotten word that there's a new skooma dealer running around the port, and he wants you to find and track this person. Head over to the Safe Harbour Tavern and ask around; the bartender will take some money from you but tell you nothing, so you'll have to look yourself.
As it happens, there's someone called "Visiting Khajiit" hanging around the tavern. Follow him when he leaves, but be sure to stay hidden - if he spots you, he'll take off and you'll have to find the place yourself. Despite the journal entry saying it's "some unsightly backwoods house", it's in the city itself, behind the row of house next to the chapel, along the west wall. When you approach the door, you'll get a journal entry; return to Lerexus to report what you've found. He'll give you a new outfit and tell you to sneak in undercover.
Once you're in there, talk to the bartender, J'Zvari; he'll suggest you lie down behind the screens. A few minutes later, a Dunmer will appear from a previously hidden trapdoor behind some barrels near the front door. Go down and explore the caverns, which are empty at the moment, then report back to Lerexus again (there's another entrance outside the city; you might want to leave that way so you know where to go later). He'll round up some soldiers and tell you to meet them at the cave entrance, whereupon you all will go raid the den. This time, the dealers are in residence: three bandit marauders, along with their leader, Veren Lonavo. Kill them all, then return to Lerexus to give him the news. He'll reward you with a sword, and the quest will be complete.

- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage BANLeyawiinSkoomaTrade stage
, where stage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
