Kavas Rim Pass is a forested road between the provinces of Cyrodiil and Morrowind, which would place it somewhere in the Valus Mountains that form their borders. Caravans and adventurers seldom travel the road, and guards are appointed to screen travelers between provinces. The Kavas Rim Pass appears in the famous historical fiction, 2920, The Last Year of the First Era, written by Carlovac Townway.[1]

The character Turala travels the pass alone and defenseless after her exile from Mournhold. Suddenly, she is about to give birth to her child and screams in pain and anger, when suddenly a Wild Elf appeared and helped her give birth until she passed out. Turala woke up later to the sound of her crying child. She thanked the Wild Elf who had long since left and continued on her journey through Cyrodiil.[1]
