Farvyn Oreyn

Farvyn Oreyn, a Dark Elf battlemage, is the last descendant of the false Dunmer hero Oreyn Bearclaw. After you begin the associated quest, he will be located south of Gnaar Mok with his two bodyguards, Dreynis Nothro and Vala Herennius. He is extremely arrogant, and plans to win his ancestor's fame back by performing "heroic deeds". Malacath tasks you with killing Farvyn to end the Oreyn bloodline.

Farvyn wears a Dwemer cuirass with matching greaves and boots. He also wears Dwemer bracers and Dwemer pauldrons. Underneath his armor he wears an extravagant shirt with matching pants, a third barrier belt and a blood despair amulet. In combat, he wields a silver flameaxe.

In addition to his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, Farvyn knows the spells Daedric Bite, Dire Weakness to Shock, Dire Weakness to Poison, Dire Weakness to Magicka, Dire Weakness to Frost, Dire Weakness to Fire, Weakness to Corprus Disease, Weakness to Blight Disease, Deadly Poison [Ranged], Hand of Decay, Summon Ancestral Ghost, Fourth Barrier and Heavy Burden Touch.

I have no wish to trouble you further.: "That is noble of you. However, I'm afraid I can't let someone go around ruining my family's good name. Guards! Silence this fool!"

• As is evident from his dialogue, Farvyn Oreyn believes that the deeds of his famed ancestor are fabrications. This contrasts from the opinions of others from his bloodline, including Modryn Oreyn from Oblivion, and Gadnuth Oreyn, who is mentioned in ESO.
