Blessed Sentinel

Blessed Sentinels are giant suits of Auroran armor serving Meridia. They are similar in appearance to Mournful Aegises. They can have one or two pairs of arms.

Skills and Abilities

Singing Slice/Singing Strike

A basic melee attack dealing low physical damage.

Dissonant Blow

Charged melee attack dealing moderate physical damage and staggering the target. This can be blocked to set the Blessed Sentinel off-balance instead.

Notes

• †There are some Blessed Sentinels in the overland Western Solstice which use the Meridian Sentinel texture but are mistakenly called Mournful Aegis.
• Blessed Sentinels were first added in Update 21 and originally had no formal name provided, only being referred to by terms such as "Meridian guardians". Their name was eventually revealed in Update 46.
• They use the same animation rig as Mournful Aegides and have the internal mesh name TombGuardian_B_MornAeg.

Bugs

• Despite being elite rank enemies, Blessed Sentinels are vulnerable to crowd control. The "Flying Immunities" buff which grants immunity to snares and roots that could work as a fail-safe in this case is also absent. ^?
• The "Dissonant Blow" ability which is derived from Mournful Aegides' same ability still have the blue particles when the attack hits. ^?
