Salinen

Salinen is a picturesque ruin south of Salthearth.

It stands to the side of the Gold Road as it turns eastwards towards Brina Cross. Corpses within mark a failed venture by previous visitors of an unknown faction - the ruin is otherwise well-guarded by Ayleid creations and summons.

The ruin features during Growing Up as the location through which you must safely escort Rufrius Vinicius - the son of the Anvil Fighter's Guild guildmaster, Palagrius Vinicius. Notable loot includes a Saliache Left Bracer behind an Ayleid Reliquary near the ruin's northwestern corner, and Saliache Greaves on a shelf in the southwestern chamber. The Ayleid Knife that is the target of the Growing Up quest is in one of the southwestern rooms, on a stone slab next to an opened Ayleid coffer.
