Marlene is a Redguard Barbarian, with a poor temper and a fondness for alcohol. She claims to be a representative of the Imperial Archaeological Society, and is first encountered locked up in the cells of Roa Dyr, following an ill-advised outburst about Dark Elves in general, and her former traveling partner in particular.

Reported to the guards by the Eravan farmer, Ulor Noryn, Marlene was arrested, and has spent several days giving the guard of the prison cells a headache through her noisy complaints. She will ultimately ask you to help track down her partner, Voryn Gilnam, who has stolen her family amulet, as part of the quest Drinking, Stealing, Ranting.
